Action versus Motivation...

One of the more common questions I get asked revolves around motivation, specifically how does one 'attain' it? I believe that we don't particularly understand motivation and even get it confused with enthusiasm. 

You see, when we start something new we tend to feel reasonably good about it, we begin with a degree of enthusiasm about it and this is enough to overcome the difficulty in starting... But this isn't motivation, and our initial enthusiasm soon wears off.

Motivation kicks in when we take consistent action. As the quick video below describes, motivation comes as a result of action, it isn't a pre-cursor to it...
